Non-Original Artwork Items
LifeWithKatrin.com collaborates with a vast network of production and logistics partners to ensure efficient order fulfillment and delivery for print materials. These partners are present in over 200 countries and locally produce in 32, to expedite deliveries, reduce costs and carbon emissions, and support local businesses.
Despite occasional international routing, LifeWithKatrin.com maintains a high rate of local production, with 95% of orders produced in the same country as their delivery destination.
Different shipping methods are available dependent on the destination country, which may influence final shipping cost. LifeWithKatrin.com uses live shipping rates which are reflected at checkout.

Original Artwork
Due to the complexities involved with shipping original fine art of a certain price point/quality out of Italy, LifeWithKatrin.com does not offer automated shipping for original pieces. Once purchased, you will be contacted to coordinate shipping your piece through Mail Boxes Etc. (the location Katrin works with specializes in handling fine art, and is a go-to resource for many of the auction houses and prominent artists in Florence). Your piece will be mailed in a custom made crate. In most instances, paperwork will need to be filed with the Italian government (Katrin will handle this) – typically this takes 5-10 days to process – before the painting can be sent.
Delivery Times
Once the paperwork is in order and has been processed, paintings shipped via standard usually arrive within 2 weeks but it depends a lot on the destination country and customs.
Please note: as of April 1st, 2026, original artwork is not shipped to the following destinations: Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates. The courier who handles Katrin’s art does not ship to destinations in active conflict.
Quality Guarantee & Returns
I do not accept exchanges or returns for fulfilled orders, as products are personalized and/or created on demand. However, I want you to be satisfied with the quality of the products you order through lifewithkatrin.com. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a product (such as damage or poor print quality), please get in touch with me at ciaokatrins@gmaill.com within 30 days of receiving the item and I will do my best to investigate and find a solution.
If I am able to validate your claim, I will be happy to send a complimentary replacement order to you as quickly as possible for printed items. Issues with original fine art will be resolved on a case by case basis.
To address your issue, I require a receipt or proof of purchase (such as order number).
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds
If a replacement order is not feasible, or you can’t wait for a new order to arrive, please indicate that when you reach out and I will issue you a refund (again this is applicable to print items only). Refunds are not issued for original fine art.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact Katrin at ciaokatrins@gmail.com.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Color Consistency
My items are printed using the same machines, paper types, and work processes through all print partners to minimize color variations. However, printing is a chemical process and 100% consistency cannot be achieved globally. Multiple factors influence the color, consistency, and final result, including:
- Machine type
- Machine settings
- Paper types
- Humidity in the room
- When the machine was last cleaned
Color variations that may occur due to the above-mentioned reasons lie within acceptable tolerance levels and are not covered under the quality guarantee.
Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive defective or damaged print goods we will issue you a complimentary replacement. This includes:
- Damage to the delivered print products
- Errors in the number or quantity of the delivered print products
- Lack of quality of the delivered print products
Again, issues pertaining to original fine art will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
