Painting & Commission Questions

Absolutely! I’m super honored you would consider me for something as special as a commission. If you have an idea you are interested in having me create for you I would love to hear it.

Send me a message in the form on my contact page with the details of what you have in mind and we can figure out the details!

Generally, clients invest a 50% deposit initially, with the remaining balance delivered upon completion (I firmly insist on not investing 100% upfront – it helps me stay motivated 😂).

In an effort to keep my work more accessible, I am open to discussing additional installment plans.

I have a courier here in Florence, Italy, who specializes and is highly experienced in safely shipping original art all around the world.

Each piece is protectively wrapped with care and then placed in a sturdy crate before being shipped.

Due to the quality of my work in most instances additional paperwork needs to be filed with the Italian government (I will handle this), before the paintings can be sent. Typically, it takes 5-10 days to process.

Portraits created from life are made to the same scale. Accordingly, classic portrait paintings are made to be 50x60cm, and upwards. Drawings are generally drawn on 66x48cm (26×19 inch) Roma paper.

Standard sized portrait drawings usually take 5 days of poses, with afternoon sittings from 1-4pm (there are breaks, please do not worry :)).

Standard sized portrait paintings take twice as long.

I sure do! I have a framer here in Florence that provides frames for some of the best artists in the city and offers many styles. If you’re comfortable, you can even furnish me with photos of where it will be hung so I can select a frame that will compliment not only the painting but the space it will reside in.
