Nestled in the Santa Maria Novella district of the famous renaissance city you can experience a heavenly stay with eccentric delights befitting an Italian paradise.

The main restaurant within the 25hours Hotel in Florence, Italy

I’ve lived in Florence for over 3 years now, and if you asked me if I could stay in any hotel here for even just one night which one would it be – you might be a little surprised that without a moment of hesitation I would reply ‘the 25hours Hotel.’

While it’s eccentric, eclectic, and cool aesthetic is obvious let me tell you what makes this place such a dazzling gem, even amidst the sea of glam 5 star hotels the city boasts.

First off, the interior thoughtfully nods at a beloved, historic Florentine figure – it is inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy with references of heaven and hell cleverly sprinkled throughout the whole establishment. For an instance, the stairways are decorated in a ‘purgatory’ theme.

Even the elevators are perfectly designed with the story in mind. The heaven one is a bit unassuming but the hell sister to it certainly packs a punch (admittedly it had me second thinking my decision not to take the stairs).

Naturally, the elevators take you to coordinating rooms.

They even have silver wings you can wear around the hotel!

At the heart of it all is a luminous restaurant, with custom made plate settings.

Off of the restaurant are separate rooms where you can host private parties, and at the back is a lush garden and traditional negroni bar. And if all of those features haven’t grabbed you attention yet…

There is a Cinema Paradiso film lounge, where curated movies are shown. No reservation needed and best of all it’s completely free.

One last feature I’d like to draw attention to (and I’ve just barely grazed what this hotel offers!) is how they actually have a second restaurant that is well suited for smaller bites.

Lastly, they are open to collaborations with influencers and content creators (not me – yet!), so if you’re one it might be worth inquiring… you never know!

(psst… I save you the trouble – you can reach out to them here)

So tell me, would you move heaven and earth for a stay here, too?
